J. Bryan Boyd Teaches “The Wire” at Campbell University School of Law

Edwards Beightol’s J. Bryan Boyd is sharing his passion for law and television with Campbell University School of Law students during the Spring 2023 semester. Bryan will once again be teaching a criminal law seminar called “The Wire,” which focuses on the legal and policy issues raised in the critically acclaimed HBO series The Wire. The topics covered include police manipulation of crime statistics, race and the criminal justice system, honesty and accountability of law enforcement, the war on drugs and the distribution of resources in the criminal justice system.
