Referral & Co-Counsel Relationships
We pay Co-Counsel Fees
Edwards Beightol welcomes co-counsel relationships and compensates referring attorneys consistent with the law in the relevant jurisdiction.
We know that you want your clients in trusted hands, but we also understand that not every lawyer is right for every case. That’s where we come in. Our award-winning team is available to associate with other lawyers. We want to help you and your clients maximize your results.
We have co-counseled nationwide, and we value those relationships. We appreciate every referral and believe that referring attorneys and co-counsel should be duly compensated. We do so in a manner consistent with the law of the state(s) involved.
Our co-counsel arrangements are tailored to the needs of the specific case and referring attorneys.
Some examples include:
Referrals from attorneys in-state and out-of-state
Mutual referral relationships in our practice areas and yours
Working with co-counsel in states where we are licensed (North Carolina, Georgia, California and D.C.)
Acting as lead counsel out-of-state, with local counsel through pro hac vice admission
Service as local counsel in states where we are licensed (North Carolina, Georgia, California, and D.C.)
If you are looking for co-counsel, we are here to help.
