Emily B. Kuhn

Education.

Emily graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Geology. In 2002, she graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law.

Experience.

Emily began her legal career practicing family law with a local Raleigh firm. Emily then served several years as Manager of Lawyer Recruiting at a large Raleigh firm and Firm Administrator for the Kuhn Law Firm. She has extensive experience in law firm administration including accounting, financial management, and human resources.

Community.

Emily currently serves as on Board of Directors of 3 Bluebirds Farm, an organization dedicated to serving the autism community, as Vice President, and formerly as Treasurer. Emily also serves on the Olds Elementary and Oberlin Middle PTA Boards as Audit Committee Chair, and enjoys volunteering with community organizations that focus on children and families.

Personal.

Emily is married to Ben Kuhn and they have two children, and their Weimaraner Goldendoodle, Ace, completes the family. They enjoy traveling together and attending live music and sporting events. Emily was born and raised in North Carolina, and visits Chapel Hill as often as she can to cheer on her Tar Heels!
