Edwards Beightol Team Volunteers at InterAct
Every quarter (at least), the Edwards Beightol team will be volunteering in our community. This quarter, we decided to focus our efforts on InterAct. We spent the morning helping InterAct move their services back into their Oberlin Road building after a period of remote work due to COVID. Because we are a law firm dedicated to protecting the interests of sexual abuse and sexual assault victims, InterAct is an organization close to our hearts. InterAct’s focus is ending the cycle of domestic and sexual violence in our county. It does that through 24-hour crisis hotlines, community engagement and outreach, court advocacy and e-filing of protective orders, emergency shelters, individual and group counseling, personal and economic empowerment, sexual assault services, The Solace Center and youth education services.
