Founding Partner Kristen L. Beightol Chairs October 27, 2023, Campbell Law School Alumni Association Continuing Legal Education Seminar

On October 27, 2023, Founding Partner Kristen L. Beightol, Chair of the Campbell Law School Alumni Association Board and the Board’s Continuing Legal Education Committee, chaired an all-day seminar at Campbell Law School. Thank you to the speakers, who are each Campbell Alumni, including: Chris Olson, who spoke on Civil Rights; Robert Meek, who spoke about his work in the Supreme Court of the United States’ Clerk’s Office; Awanti Damle of Ogletree Deakins, who spoke regarding the complexities of business immigration; Brian Lawler of The Forest Law Group, who spoke about elder law; Dawn Thompson, who spoke on her work as a lobbyist for Live Oak Bank and Thomas Harper of the American Red Cross, who spoke on International Humanitarian Law. Thank you also to Assistant Dean of External Relations Megan Sherron for all of her help putting on this Continuing Education day and to Chaplin and Associates for hosting the remote platform option.
