MARK EGERMAN was born on August 18, 1942, at Los Angeles, California. He is married to Dr. Lynn Egerman and has two children, Kim Nemoy and Lee Egerman, both attorneys practicing in Los Angeles, California. He is the proud grandfather of twin four year old boys, Will and Max Nemoy.

Mark Egerman completed the four year course of study for a B.A. degree in 1963 at UCLA in three years. He completed the three year course of study at UCLA School of Law in two and one half years and received his Juris Doctorate in February, 1966. Mr. Egerman finished first in his graduating class at UCLA School of Law, was a Senior Editor of the UCLA Law Review, and was awarded the highest law school scholastic honor of Order of the Coif. Mr. Egerman is admitted to practice before all courts of the State of California, the United States District Court, Central District of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal, and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Egerman is a founding member and partner in Egerman & Brown, LLP. Since his admission to practice law in 1966, Mr. Egerman has specialized in all aspects of real property law, land entitlements, complex business transactions, estate planning, and litigation. During his legal career, Mr. Egerman has participated as legal counsel in numerous multi-million dollar transactions and tried numerous complex litigation cases, several of which lasted many months. Over the past forty years, he has also served as judge pro-tem in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, Van Nuys and Encino Municipal Courts, as a referee under the appointment of the Honorable William Rea, and as an arbitrator on numerous occasions in commercial, business, and attorney’s fee disputes. Mr. Egerman and his law firm are rated "a.v." by Martindale Hubble, a national publication of attorneys, which is the highest rating given for professional qualifications and ethics.

Mr. Egerman served as Mayor of the City of Beverly Hills in 2004-2005 and 2001-2002. He served two terms on the Beverly Hills City Council from March, 1997, through March, 2005. Prior to his election to the City Council, he served for seven years on the Public Works Commission of the City of Beverly Hills and had the distinction of being its first Chairperson. Mr. Egerman was also elected to the Beverly Hills Board of Education and was its President in 1987. Mr. Egerman has served on the legal committee of the Beverly Hills Unified School District. He has served as President and Chairman of the Board of the Beverly Hills Education Foundation. He is also a founding member of Beverly Hills Arrive Alive, Police and Community Together, and the Citizen’s Emergency Response Training Program for the City of Beverly Hills. In addition to his regular legal practice, Mr. Egerman currently serves as special counsel to the City of Beverly Hills, Co-Chair of the Mass Transit Committee of the City of Beverly Hills, and is Western Regional Director of Friends of Israel Fire and Rescue Services, a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization.
